Only one DMA person loves Tater Tots more than Kem Marks, and that is Susan Spencer, DMA’s secretary. Kem will need to find a new person to eat tots with, because Sue is leaving the Board of Directors, DMA announces, sadly.
Sue has served on the Board of Directors for over two years and was elected secretary in June 2016. However, Mt. Hood Community College made her an offer she couldn’t refuse (not the “Godfather” kind). Sue took early retirement from MHCC and will work at a community college in Southeast Washington.
Sue will be living closer to her mother and to a number of great vineyards — plus at least one good beer pub where college kids hang out. She’s not sure if there were any good tater tot places in her new hometown. If not, she might come visit us and eat tots here.
DMA thanks Sue for all of her work on the Board of Directors and the past two East Portland Jobs Fairs. Everyone at DMA will miss Sue’s great smile and laugh, as well as her great taste in music and food.
