Lorelei Young
In May, DMA’s President Lorelei Young announced she was stepping down from the board. A general sense of sadness and loss swept the Board at her announcement. Ms. Young has been involved with DMA for over four years. Lorelei was DMA’s secretary for three years before serving as president in 2015-16. For four years she has been the chair of the Events Committee and the primary force behind the Festival of Nations. Staff and board members quickly came together to fill the gap by electing a new board President.

Dawn Luethe
In June, as part of its annual operations Division Midway Alliance’s Board of Directors elected new officers for 2016-2017. Dawn Luethe, manager at Hidden Court Apartments was elected DMA’s president, Mt. Hood Community College’s Workforce Education Coordinator Susan Spencer, secretary, and Mill Park resident Rick Barkto, treasurer.
Trevor Hopper and Connor Riggs complete the Board of Directors as at large members. Trevor is the chair of the Mill Park Neighborhood Association and Connor lives in Powellhurst Gilbert and is a Mt. Hood Community College student.
DMA is seeking more community members to serve on the Board of Directors and encourages interested parties to contact Executive Director Lori Boisen at 503-841-5201 or divisionmidwayalliance@gmail.com for more information.
