The East Portland Neighborhood Prosperity Initiatives (NPI) are hosting a Jobs Fair on May 11th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The three NPIs – Historic Parkrose, Division Midway Alliance, and Rosewood – are joining forces with Mt. Hood Community College and SE Works to help East Portlanders find work.
The NPI is a program of Portland Development Commission to help specific parts of Portland improve their economic conditions. Workforce development is one of the many ways that the NPI’s do their work. Leading the effort for the NPI’s are the AmeriCorps VISTA service members that help the NPIs with capacity building and programing.
