Every year, Santiago Asael, the owner of Casa del Sol, makes visible improvements to his restaurant at 14324 SE Division Street. Since purchasing the restaurant Santiago has repaved, fenced and painted the exterior of Casa del Sol; he has also remodeled much of the interior as well.
This past year, thanks in part to a storefront improvement grant from the Division Midway Alliance, Casa del Sol installed an outdoor patio seating area and upgraded its drive-thru. The new patio area is a beautiful addition to the distinct A-framed business located in the Midway District. Santiago’s interior upgrades include installing a new counter, electronic menu and online ordering system.
