2015 Cruise In
The third weekend in September will be busy in East Portland, with back-to-back fun Sept. 17th and 18th before the rain returns. The 2016 Festival of Nations by Division Midway Alliance will get things started (insert link to story), and the End of Summer Cruise-in will close things out Sunday.
The Cruise-in is an East Portland tradition put on by Bill Dayton, owner of Pizza Baron, itself an East Portland tradition. This year Mayhem Customs, Key-Bank and O’Reilly Auto Parts are co-sponsoring the Cruise-in.
The Cruise-in showcases all kinds of vintage cars, from converted street rods to original or restored classics. Attendees also will enjoy food (we’re guessing pizza is on the menu), live music including the David Douglas Choir, a raffle, a 50/50 raffle, and 30 plus trophies.
The Cruise-in will run 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday in the Midway Plaza parking lot, 2604 SE 122nd Ave. Don’t miss out on the good old-fashioned fun!
